Class 2 - Y3 & Y4 Class News

Class Three have been really busy this week in Science, learning about electricity. We started off learning about the difference between static electricity and bio electricity, and tried various methods to create our own static electricity.  
As you can see, they had a lot of fun!

We have spent lots of time making our own simple electrical circuits using light bulbs, motors, batteries (cells), wires with crocodile clips attached and cell holders.

 
 Within our science unit, class three also had the opportunity to adapt their circuits by designing and creating their vey own switches. They had to plan a design, predict what they thought was going to happen and then evaluate it. Everyone had some brilliant ideas and it was really lovely seeing all the children working collaboratively together. ​
