In Class Three, we have spent lots of time this week and last doing sports. We have had our weekly PE lessons with Mr Whitford, where we have been looking at athletics, both track and field. Well, it has been a rather hot week but that hasn’t stopped class one. We have been ever so busy! On Monday, reception enjoyed visiting playgroup. The explored the classroom and spent time with the children, it was lovely to see. They took shade in the willow den, spent time creating tracks for the vehicles and some of us enjoyed playing in their home corner. We had a wonderful day for our Sports Day, with the sunshine making the afternoon even more special and particularly hot. All of the children did incredibly well, showing fantastic determination and excellent teamwork throughout the events. The afternoon began with a lovely picnic lunch on the field. Following lunch, the children took part in a carousel of activities, which included: pace hopper races, hurdles, beat the keeper and skipping. They had a great try at everything
