Wellbeing
Wellbeing in our school is a whole-school approach that integrates mental, emotional and physical health into everyday school like and its culture to ensure children feel safe, valued and ready to learn.
It is important for academic achievement and long-term health. We know that children cannot engage fully if they are struggling emotionally; wellbeing is directly linked to better attendance and learning outcomes. Research also shows that a child's emotional health at 16 years is widely recognised as the strongest predictor of adult life satisfaction.
