Year 6 - Treat Day

20 Jun 2023

Just a reminder, it is the Year 6 Treat Day on Monday - children will not need to wear uniform but comfy shoes are a must. Please bring a water bottle too.

Thank you

We are delighted to announce that Year 6 are going on a treat day on Monday 10th July to York.

The children will be visiting York Dungeons, where they will experience theatrical excitement and take part in a thrilling adventure. After the Dungeons, we will be stopping off at Pizza Hut for some delicious food, including pizza, pasta, salad, a drink and ice cream. The children will also be competing in head-to-head escape rooms with each other, which promises to be an exciting activity.

We will depart school at around 9.20am and return for approximately 4.15pm.

Friends of Fountains have kindly offered to cover the cost of the activities for the children, and we would like to thank them for this kind gesture. We are asking parents to make a contribution of £10 to cover the cost of the children's treat lunch. If anyone requires assistance with this, please speak to the office, as we are here to help. Payment can be made via ParentPay.

Children will not be required to wear their school uniform, but we would like them to wear sensible and comfortable shoes. We would also like the children to bring a water bottle to keep them hydrated throughout the day.

This treat day is well deserved for the children who have worked so hard all year round. If anyone has any questions, please do not hesitate to speak with Mrs Glover, who will be happy to help. We are looking forward to a fantastic and well deserved day out for our Year 6s.
