Year 6 SATs results

06 Jul 2022

On Tuesday we, along with the rest of the country, received our Year 6's SATs results.

The children took these tests back in May after an academic year working very hard and trying to make up for the last two years of disruption. The last time these tests were administered was in 2019, and this year there were no allowances or alterations made for Covid. From 2019, the grade boundary for reading actually went up by 1 point, the grammar went down by 1 point and the maths stayed the same.

I am pleased to announce that our children did absolutely brilliantly! They all exceeded my expectations, and we are so so proud of your wonderful children.

I shared the results verbally with the children on Tuesday, but you will also get a formal report of your children's results in with their school report in the next couple of weeks.

Well done Year 6! You definitely deserve your treat day in a couple of weeks time. laugh
