RE Reflections

14 Nov 2019

Over the last couple of weeks, Class 4 have been considering some key questions in their Religious Education. The children have been reflecting on their own ideas and thoughts around different beliefs.

This week they have particularly been thinking about the varying beliefs around the creation of the world. They have considered their thoughts on the account in Genesis 1 and 2 from the Bible, as well as the theory of Evolution and the Big Bang Theory. They looked at some of the beautiful aspects of nature to question how they got here and why. The children have created a continuum to plot the beliefs and opinions of themselves and others between 'Yes, God is real' and 'No, God is not real,' identifying that not all Christians think the same. The discussions that the children have taken part in around this have been mature, interesting and thought provoking. They have really started to question things that they have never thought of before or have previo
