On a very sunny Tuesday morning, the children in Year 5 and 6 took part in a multi school football tournament at Outwood Secondary School. The children were incredible! Great effort, sportsmanship and support. Well done everyone.

There were some super individual game results and overall Fountains A finished first in their group and Fountains B finished second in their group (with a 10-0 result in one of their games). We are looking forward to the finals in Harrogate in the Summer Term, date TBC.

As well as performing brilliantly, Duncan and Boo were awarded awards for the social skills Sporting Influence were looking for, including communication and respect. Charlie was given a special award by the Sporting Influence coaches for being so helpful.

It really was a lovely morning!
