This week we have been learning about how the Ancient Greeks governed themselves in Athens. We found out about how they voted and how a Democracy was formed. The children have exercised their own democratic right by voting for the members on the School Council and meeting in their chosen committee to make plans for the school year. Congratulations to Freddie, Poppy, Heidi and Beth who were elected as Class 2 representatives on the school council.

The children have been continuing to enjoy the exciting Forest School sessions they have been doing with Mrs Longstaff. They have been using a fruit press to juice pears and a nutcracker clamp and gimlet to make holes in conkers. Photos will be uploaded very soon!
