This week in class 2…
We have had a fun end to the school year!
We all enjoyed being part of our KS2 school play – ‘Oliver with a Twist’. We did a great job of learning our lines and the song words and got into the character roles enthusiastically! It was a super effort from all involved and we are very proud of the show you put on – Well done!
We put our maths knowledge to the test with an escape room task. We worked in groups to solve the clues using different elements of our mathematical understanding. Eddie and William were the first to finish and solve the 10 digit code.
On Wednesday, we had a great afternoon with the rest of the school. We were split into 3 teams and took part in a rounders tournament. We also had a circuit of activities on the playground to complete including hurdles, basketball, football and throwing skills.
On Thursday, we were given an art project to create a sculpture using clay and collage. We began by designing our object – we thought about a person or animal. After our design, we thought about how we could add collage pieces to create hair, arms or even fire!
We enjoyed creating our masterpieces and using tools to create pattern and texture on our models too.
