This week we have been working hard in maths. Our year ones and twos have been looking at the compostion of numbers to 20. We have used lots of concrete resources to build numbers, considering how many tens and ones the number has. We have also been working on our formation of numbers too. We have had a busy week in class one. Alongside our learning, we have spent lots of time rehearsing and getting ready for our Nativity. We are getting very excited! In Science, year one and two have been thinking about animal habitats. We have talked about different habitats and how animals are adapted to live there. Then we considered microhabitats and the animals that live near us. We did a walk of the school grounds looking for microhabitats and finding lots of minibeasts.
