Week 1

Our Reception children have enjoyed learning about Shrove Tuesday this week and Lent. We talked about the importance of Lent to Christians. Then, although it was a little bit late, they made some delicious pancakes. The children enjoyed measuring out the ingredients, stirring the batter but mostly eating their lovely pancakes!

In Year one and two, we have began our unit in Science on Materials. The children have enjoyed discussing different materials, going on a Material hunt around school and beginning to consider why a material is chosen for an object. To support us with this, we did an experiment with some spoons.
