This week we have been embracing Autumn. We have talked about signs of Autumn and spent time noticing the seasonal change. The children have enjoyed creating with the leaves, collecting acorns and using Autumnal resources to count and play.
The reception children have been doing lots of painting, making cards, rainbows and Autumnal artwork. They have also liked dressing up this week; roleplaying policemen and making their own "jails". The children have been learning how to use the ipads to take pictures, see if you can spot which ones!
In year one and two we have sadly reached the end of our History unit on castles. The children have enjoyed this topic so much and have learnt lots about life in the castle in the 1500s. This week, we did some roleplay of the roles of people in a Medieval castle. The children liked dressing up.
