Art week

This week has been art week. We have really enjoyed this unit on painting.

Reception have explore painting with different materials, mixing colours and thinking about their style of painting.

Similarly, year one and two have explored different techniques. We looked at six different ways of using watercolours including blotting, adding salt and mixing paint. We also looked how pipettes and dropping paint can create different shapes. We made pictures in reverse, looking to see what images we could see on the page rather than creating images. We also enjoyed using a range of materials to paint with.
