Week 2

In Reception, the children have been busy using the blocks to make numbers to 5. We have talked about how numbers can be split into parts but the whole remains the same. The children have also enjoyed using the cubes to paint number pictures.

In year one and two we have enjoyed finishing our writing unit on legends. We spend several days this week, writing our own stories. To support us, we have planned the stories, examined lots of other legends and considered the vocabulary that we could use.

We have also very much enjoyed learning about Children in Need and supporting their excellent work. The children loved having their ice cream, completing Joe Wick’s exercises and making lots of artwork. Thank you for all of your support and donations.
