On Friday the 10th of May, we would like to take Class 1 to Bolton Castle. This visit will support our learning in History over the half-term, in which our question is ‘why was Bolton Castle built and what does the castle tell us about life in the past?"

We will be travelling on an Abbots coach, leaving school at 9am and returning to school for 3:30pm.

Please can you send your child in to school with a backpack which they can use to carry their water bottle and a snack. Any children who usually have a school meal will be provided with a packed lunch by school. They should wear school uniform and be dressed appropriately for the weather. There is also a small gift shop onsite if children would like to bring money to purchase something. 

Friends are kindly covering the cost of the coach for us, however, the cost per child to enter the castle is £15. We ask that you please pay this via parentpay.
