This week has been another lovely week in class one!
In Maths, this week we have been looking at number bonds, adding and doubles. The children have enjoyed some creating addition fact families together. They have been working hard with lots of practical resources.
In French, we have been practicing our greetings. The children have enjoyed using them to greet people and are getting more confident with their pronunciation.
On Friday, we had a lovely visit from Mrs Simpson who came to speak to us all about the libaray. She shared some fantastic books with us. We enjoyed listening to shark in the park on a windy day and
Afterwards, we made our very own bookmarks and chose a book to borrow for the week. Please can these be returned to school next week so they can be sent back to the library.
In our areas, we have been busy making homes, using chalk and getting creative. It has been lovely to see the children growing in confidence. They have secured friendships and love working together.
