We have had another wonderful week in class one!

In English, for several weeks now we have been learning about traditional tales. In our lessons, we have read many traditional tales, considering the audience, purpose and features of the book. This week, we have thought about the vocabulary that is used in the stories. The children have also learnt about the coordinating conjunction, "and", which they are going to use in their writing.

In our areas, this week, we have been very busy. We have made lots of models using the different materials in our classroom: houses, robots, cars, measuring devices and much more. We have enjoyed using lots of colours to paint pictures.
