Week 1 & 2

In year one and two we have started our new unit in Geography which is all about the local area and school grounds. We began our learning by having a walk around the school grounds, looking and human and physical features. There were so many of each.

In our My Happy Mind unit, we have been on the “appreciate” module. This week we had to think about the experiences we are grateful for. We enjoyed playing a game where one person acted out an experience, they were grateful for and we all had to guess.

Reception have been enjoying making little books this week. They have drawn pictures to tell stories and some of us have added some writing too. We have also enjoyed tasting the yummy strawberries that have grown outside and making some very complex dens (some even had “cameras”!)
