A visitor to Roecliffe from Peru!
<p>We were extremely lucky this week to welcome another visitor into our school….this time from Peru! Sonia is a teacher in Lima, Peru and she spent some time with us finding out about UK primary schools and teaching the children a traditional peruvian dance.</p>

Well-Being Day

Christmas wishes at Boroughbridge Manor!
<p>Our Class 3 children visited the residents at Boroughbridge Manor Care Home to wish them all a very merry Christmas this week. Our children delivered their own hand-made Christmas cards and sang Christmas tunes to entertain the staff and residents.</p>

Class 1 Nativity
<p>Class 1 children in nursery, reception and Year 1 wowed their families with beautiful singing and amazing acting at their nativity performance. The children wrote their own nativity play, and designed and made the costumes, props and scenery with the help of the wonderful staff in Class 1. </p>

Bath Bomb Fun!
<p>Class 3 children spent a day at Queen Ethelburgas taking part in a Science Technology Engineering Maths (STEM) day. The children took part in all sorts of STEM activities including making a bath bomb!</p>

<p>Congratulations and a huge well done to the Roecliffe High Five Netball Team for being placed second in this week’s High Five netball tournament against other local primary schools. Roecliffe’s nifty netballers will now be joining other finalists at the regional High Five netball tournament at Ashville College on Tuesday 5th December.</p>

Pupil Led Worship
<p>Thank you to all the parents that joined us for our pupil led worship yesterday. Our Faith council introduced the worship, Class 2 acted out the Parable of the Sower and Class 3 acted out the Parable of the Workers in the Vineyard.</p>
