Class Three- Final Week

This week may have only been a short one, but we have certainly fit a lot in.

On Tuesday the children who expressed an interest went to Outwood and took part in a Cross Country competition, against lots of local schools. They were brilliant ambassadors of our school and our Y5/6 boys took lots of the top 20 places.

After school on Tuesday, a team of children went to North Stainley and took on Grewelthorpe and North Stainley in a dodgeball tournament.

In school all week, it has been DT week and we have been focusing on mechanisms. The children were making a simple toy, which had to include a pop up element. They really enjoyed this project and stuck to the brief well.
