This week we looked at our World Religion for 2025-2026, Hinduism.
This week's learning included learning where and when the religion started. We then compare this to where Hindus can be found today. We also looked at the key information about Hindus and the children created a fact file full of key facts. We compared Hinduism to the other main World Religions we have looked at in other years. Finally, we began looking at how the key beliefs Hindus have impact the way that they live their lives.
We are looking forward to learning more about Hinduism next week.
On Thursday, we had looked forward to cheering Sara Cox on as she ran past school, but she was a little later than planned. we still enjoyed an ice cream, thank you to our super PTA for organising.
On Friday, the children came dressed in sports clothes and brought £1 to raise money for charity. In the pouring rain the children went out to show their Sara Cox inspired determination and resilience. The children set themselves a challenge of how many laps they could run and off they went. Some completed 5, 10, 15 and even 50 laps.
We learnt more about the CIN Charity and who our money would help and kept up to date with Sara Cox's progress.
Have a good weekend!
Miss Rogers
