Class Three- Science

This week, in Science the children have been investigating soluble and insoluble. They really enjoyed their learning and worked well in groups to investigate different scientific questions.

We started the lesson ensuring we knew what the different scientific terms meant and then we began to plan an investigation. We focused on our working scientifcally skills and made sure our plans were fair tests.

In their books the children wrote all the sections of an investigation and then the fun began. They brought their plans to real life and in groups set about testing their questions. All the children worked well together and sensibly carried out their investigation.

In maths, we have finished our decimals unit and in English we have been thinking about character descriptions.
