This week has been SATs week for the Year 6s. I am so so proud of the children and how they have tackled this week. They have had a positive attitude and worked through the tests well. Well done Year 6!

The Year 5 children have continued with their usual learning, all be it in a very quiet way. This week, they have been focusing on handwriting and creative writing in English. They have also been revising their addition and subtraction skills in Maths, as well as looking at the area and perimeter of polygons.
As a reward for the Year 6s working so hard and the Year 5s being really quiet the children had a more relaxed day on Friday. The children chose to play rounders in the morning and have free time on the Chromebooks. It was a lovely game and the children showed good sportsmanship. After break we stayed out for a bit longer and the children played football. After lunch the children watched the film, whilst enjoying some popcorn and sweets. A lovely way to end the week!
Have a lovely weekend!
Mrs Sumner
