Class Three- Be Safe Day
On Tuesday we had a great day in school, for our Be Safe Day. Over the day we learnt about Road Safety, Water Safety, Online Safety, Fire Safety and Farm Safety.
We were very lucky to be joined by 2 PCSOs and Mark Excelby who shared their expertise with us.
In Online Safety, we learnt what Online Safety was and how we learn about it in school. We thought about our uses of the internet, who our trusted adults are and what to do if we feel unsafe online.
We learnt about the common causes of house fires in fire safety and how we can prevent some of those happening. In Water Safety, we learnt about the 4 aspects of staying safe; stop and think, stay together, float and call for help.
Mark spoke to us about different aspects of farming and how to avoid risks on farms.
We also learnt about the NSPCC and what they do to keep children safe.
It was a great day and I hope the children enjoyed it!
