Class 2 had a wonderful time on our class trip to Hackfall Wood on Monday, where we enjoyed a lovely day out in beautiful autumn weather. The children represented the school exceptionally well throughout the visit and made the most of every learning opportunity.

During our time at Hackfall Wood, the children took part in a range of engaging geographical activities. They completed observational drawings of the stunning natural scenery and worked carefully to create a checklist of river features they could spot. This gave them a brilliant opportunity to apply their classroom learning in a real-life setting and observe the river landscape up close.

It was a fantastic experience for everyone involved. The children showed great curiosity, enthusiasm and respect for the environment, and they thoroughly enjoyed learning outside the classroom.

We are very proud of Class 2 for the way they conducted themselves and for how well they embraced the learning opportunities on the trip. It was a memorable and enjoyable day that helped bring our river topic to life.
