Class 2 - The Digestive System

Class 2 have had a very hands-on week! The children have been experimenting and learning all about the digestive system and how our bodies work.
To see the process in action, the children smashed up bananas to mimic how we chew our food. They then passed the mixture through a pair of tights to understand how the digestive system filters what we eat.
The children really enjoyed the "messy" side of science and had lots of fun seeing the results! It was a fantastic way to bring our learning to life.
