A Very Busy Week!

This week Class 2 participated in a Football Festival at Outward Academy. We entered two teams and the children enjoyed themselves. The teams were playing in different groups. One of our teams came top of their group and our other team came second in theirs. The children played well and showed good sportsmanship.

Back at school we have started work on our Geography topic. Our enquiry question is 'Why are we never lost?'. The children have used compasses to find where North is in the playground and enjoyed using compass points to give each directions. We have started to use the OS map of the local area to find our school and some of the children's houses.
