Week 4

In Music with Mrs Longstaff we have been exploring different instruments. We really enjoyed having a go and playing them and listening to the different sounds. We also sang the "Big Red Combine Harvester" Song adding in some actions. In Computing, we have been logging into the computer and beginning to explore the programmes.

On Wednesday afternoon, this week, we had a special afternoon dedicated to our Worl Faith of the Year. Each year, the children learn about a different religion in an afternoon each half-term. This year our focus is on Islam. The children enjoyed learning some basics about the Islam religion such as followers are called Muslims, it began about 1400 years ago and their God is called Allah. The children then created some artwork inspired by some of the key Islamic beliefs.

In our areas, we have been making the three little bears a special picnic making sure there is 3 of everything!
