Class Three- Pupil Voice and committee

On Wednesday, we got into our Pupil Voice colour groups for the first time this academic year. Mrs Lewis spoke to us about the different committees and how they are really important to ensuring we use our voices to help shape our school.

We then put our hands up for which committees we wanted to be on and the teachers had a very hard job to choose just 8 children for each committee, there were a lot of hands up which was lovely to see. At Fountains we have: School Council, Reading Mentors, Charity Committee, Sports Leaders and Collective Worship Committee.

Once the groups had been set up there was time for some of the committees to get together and begin to create their plan for the year. Those children not on those committees began to create our whole school display, by creating a leaf which represented them. Once finished this will be put on display in the Den.
