This week we have been supporting the Children's mental health charity Place2Be which has set up Children's Mental Health Week. Its aim is to highlight the importance of mental health within children and young people. We have spent time learning about mental health and well-being. We have discussed how we can promote our mental health by getting outside, getting enough sleep, eating a balanced diet, spending time with friends, doing things we enjoy and reducing screen time.

Today, we enjoyed a walk to promote children's well-being. The children walked round the back of the village up the lanes. Along the way we spotted some snow drops as well as sheep and horses in the field. The children really enjoyed spending time with each other, splashing through the mud and puddles and talking all the way round. They even asked if we could do a walk every week which was lovely to hear.
