Today, Friday the 6th of February, we celebrated Number Day to raise money for the charity NSPCC, whose aim is to help children and protect children from harm. To support our fundraising, we came in number related outfits or as rockstars and brought in a donation. The children had some amazing outfits. Thank you for all of your effort!

In Collective Worship, we learnt about the charity and how it supports children. Then we went back to class to do some fun Maths activities.

Class one enjoyed a number hunt around school. We found so many and managed to tick most of them off our scavenger hunt. We found numbers everywhere: on the playground, on the pegs, in the den, in the entrance to school and on books. They really are everywhere. After that, we enjoyed learning about Tessellations and made some lovely artwork.

KS2 enjoyed a TT rockstar battle, involving all three schools in our federation. We will will find out the results on Monday! The children also spent time doing some fun Maths puzzles. In Class 3, they played a maths version of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. 1 group got all the questions right and earnt £1 million.

We chose some winners for best dressed and they each got a number prize.

Thank you for all of your support and making today so much fun!
