It was so lovely to have so many of you join us for our Harvest Festival this morning. During the festival, each class shared something they had learnt as part of their work around Harvest.

Class One sang us a beautiful song, called Busy For The Harvest. They combined their lovely singing with some super actions.
Class Two recited a poem called Harvest. They recited their poem in groups, working hard on the rhythm of the words.

Class Three then performed a rap version of the traditional tale, The Little Red Hen. They have been practising in class. focusing on their intonation and expression.

As well as each class performing something, the children had all learnt three well known Harvest songs, singing them really nicely and each child brought up an item for our Harvest collection. We are so very grateful for your generosity this morning and we are sure Ripon Foodbank will be very appreciative of all of the donations we have collected.

NB- We have our open classroom on Tuesday 21st October at 3pm, this is an opportunity for you to come and visit your child's class and have a look at what they have been doing in school, since September.
We hope to see lots of you there!
