Forest School

 The children did some activities to help them with their science work. First they had to find things that were living, once lived or never lived. We found metal pans that had never lived, sticks that had once lived and worms that were living. 

 Next we found dinner for a rabbit that was a herbivore, a bird that was an omnivore and an owl that was a carnivore. 

Finally we made food chains to think about what animals like to eat and who eats who in the natural world. We learnt that the arrows mean 'gives energy to'.

There was time to explore and toast marshmallows.
