Class 2 - Take a look at our 'Under the Sea' Gallery!

21 May 2020

 Under the Sea
We've had lots of fun thinking about 'Under the Sea' this week.
Take a look at all the brilliant work and activities that we've been doing:

We made under the sea themed reading dens.

'Edward, the Sea and the Wardrobe!'

Oakley's taking his books to sea!

 Sam B ...Under the bed!

Erica even made a sea den in her bath! (Sorry I couldn't upload the video)
She also  dressed up as a mermaid
 Sam C

We have been busy making models and creating pictures:

 Up cycling picture frames...

Maths Work:
Data Collection - We did a survey about favourite sea creatures and then represented the information in charts:

 Tora even asked the postman!

Coding - We planned routes for a submarine to take so that it avoided the obstacles:

Super science work:

Descriptions about being on a desert island:

We wrote messages in a bottle:

We made cartoons about the story of 'How the Whale Got His Throat':

Preparations for a day at the beach:

Factfiles about turtles- brilliant research!

Sea poems and rhymes

Helping others and showing that you care:

It's great to hear that so many of you are trying hard to be helpful and to show others that you care about them

Making cakes and cards for other people makes them feel special!

Making birthdays special for family members

It's good to say 'Thankyou!'

You are all amazing!   Thankyou for working so hard.

I'm missing you lots.
Have a lovely holiday!
Love from Mrs Micklefield
