Hi Class 2, it's Mrs Lewis with you again today! I look forward to seeing you all on our calls later on. I will be talking to you about our learning in RE. So you do not need to do any RE until I have spoken to you in our call!

Here are the tasks for today:

Work to send in
Today I would love to see your RE work today.  You can take a photograph of it or scan the work, then send it to me  - class2@gfschools.co.uk

Try your best with all the activities and keep your work neat and tidy.

Reading
Please spend at least 20 minutes each day on reading or sharing a book with an adult.
Year 2 – Don’t forget to do an AR quiz when you have finished your reading book.
Then, here's a funny poem I really like for you to listen to, either now or later in the day.

Maths

Year 1 -

Today you are thinking about using addition and subtraction fact families for numbers within 20.

Challenge if you are feeling brave!

 Computing

Today we are learning about a computing idea called an algorithm.
It isn’t as hard as it sounds- in fact we use algorithms everyday of our lives!

Have a look at this video that explains more:

Now have a go at this activity: (If you can send me a video of your moves I would love to see!)

  -dance_moves_supporting_worksheets.pdf-

If you have time you could play this game.

Religious Education - "Who created the earth?"

We will be looking at this powerpoint together today and chatting aboout some of the big questions in our topic about the Creation Story.

  -RE Creation session3.ppt-

After the call I would like you to think about our beautiful world and what you are thankful for. We will have had a think together about some ideas - which I will add to the powerpoint, but I would love to see all your own ideas. I have put a possible page below for you to draw or write your ideas on to. But if you would prefer to record a video, write a poem,  draw a picture, take photographs or simply chat to an adult who can write down your ideas that is fine!

  -thank you.docx-

Please remember to then send this work in to me on the Class 2 email. Have a lovely weekend, hopefully with a bit less rain and a lot more sunshine. Take care and keep safe.
