Good Morning
Class 1

Our catch up today will have a number focus... please can you bring a whiteboard and pen and 10 objects yes
I saw some super winter pictures yesterday and am very impressed with your measuring work in maths! Please remember to share your work with me so I can see how well you are doing.
enlightened I am in school today and tomorrow this week so if you would like to change reading books, please let me know how you are getting on and I can arrange for some new books to borrow. If you are coming to collect packs of books, please return the ones you have at home, thank you enlightened

Day 9 – Today we are going to step a recycled story
You will find the lesson video in TEAMs  - it should appear on the ‘post’ thread but if you have any problems, please let me know.

Maths

Please follow the link for todays maths session. Today we are looking at measuring capacity, click on the link and scroll down to session 4 - Session 4

If you would like a challenge: Experimenting with coloured water

On an empty water bottle draw on a number line, half and full line as shown in the picture. Using water, it’ll be easier to measure if coloured, fill the bottle to different points. See if you can pour the water to different numbers.

Understanding the World

Please see the activities below from Forest School. During the winter our birds need a bit of help to find food. You may already have bird feeders in your garden but this activity shows you how you can make your own.

-Forest school task sheet Week 3 bird feeders.pdf-

This weekend is the Big Garden Birdwatch. The first sheet explains how you can take part and the second sheet is a spotter sheet to show you the types of birds you might see in your garden. Have a look and see how many you can spot!

Quiz time

There is a quiz on TEAMs for you to complete to show your knowledge about winter, you can revisit the powerpoint to help you remember some of the facts about the season we are in.

We hope you have a great day, we look forward to seeing your super work smiley
