12 Jan 2021

Good morning Class 1!
I hope you had a great day yesterday, you did a great job with our treasure hunting! Thank you again for the work that you have sent in, it is great to see what you have been busy learning. yes

Here are your activities for today:

Don't forget, we will be having our usual catch up at 9.30am. Today we are going to do some counting. Please bring a whiteboard and pen or paper and pencil if you haven't got a whiteboard. smiley

Please work through the PowerPoint for our phonic session today.

  -Thursday phonics-V316622582.pptx-

Think about our story from yesterday, you can have another listen to it and see if you notice anything about the words at the end of the sentences. In the story there were a lot of words that rhyme. Rhyming words are words that sound the same – they have the same ending.
e.g. dog, log, fog,

Have a go at this game:  -rhyming game.pptx-

If you are feeling confident you could make a rhyme list. Choose at least 2 pictures (you can do more if you like but you DO NOT have to do them all!) from the sheets and see if you can find some words that rhyme with your word.

Please see below todays video for maths. Today we are thinking about combining two groups.
Session 1

If you would like a challenge...
colour the dinosaurs using 1 or 2 coloured crayons and complete the number bonds to 10.

Get creative!
I have seen some of your super artwork on the computer using Purple Mash so I thought today you could have a go on paper using different tools.
I would like you to create a picture of a toy – you could paint, draw, collage. I would really love to see your lovely art work so don’t forget to send me a picture

Quiz time enlightened

I have set a quiz on TEAMs, I would like to see what you have remembered about old and new toys from the activities we have done this week. Log in to TEAMs to find it and show me what you know!

smiley     I hope you all have a super day!    smiley
