School Council

Here is our School Council for 2019 - 2020.
The School Council is made up of 2 children from each year, Year 1 up to Year 6. All the children in these year groups were given the opportunity to stand in the School Council elections and then their peers voted for the children they wanted to represent them.
Within the School Council we have a Chairperson, Ruby Dent, and a Secretary, Jacob Wade.
We also have two School Ambassadors Joel Elton and Emilia Schofield.
The School Council have shared the reasons they wanted to be on the School Council.
What are the aims of our School Council.
For the academic year 2019-2020 the School Council held a meeting to plan which Charity days they wanted to support during the year, they have chosen;
Children In Need- BBC Children In Need
Christmas Jumper Day- Save the Children
Mad Hair Day- Saint Michael's Hospice
Then in the summer term they want to raise money for an animal charity as the other charities they have supported have all helped people.
