Week 4- Dinosaur Invasion

24 Sep 2019

What an exciting week we have had. On Tuesday afternoon we couldn't get back into our classroom, the door has been taped up with hazard tape! We peered through the window and could see some clues.

One of the children decided we needed to be detectives and work out what had happened and who had done it. So we pulled down the tape covering the door and moved inside.....

Inside our classroom there were giant footprints, all the tables and chairs had been tipped over, the fruit bowl had been emptied and some of the fruit had been eaten. The pencils were all over the table and the toys had been moved from their usual places.

In the middle of the carpet there was an egg. The children guessed that inside the egg there could be
  • a dinosaur
  • a duck
  • a chick
  • a lion
  • an owl.

The children decided after looking at the footprints it must be a dinosaur, probably a T-Rex.

The children said

There is mess everywhere- Isaac  .
Maybe it wasn't a dinosaur, there aren't around anymore- Ezra.
It must have had hands to play with our toys- Max.
The footprints look like a T-Rex- Seb .
